I think i'll be ok

I've found my own force

When I don't know where to turn

It will direct me back on course

At times i'll still get anxious

My heart will beat out of my chest

I'll take a deep breath and remind myself

This

moment

is

simply

a visiting

guest

I'll treat it with respect

Giving it the attention it deserves

I'll try to understand it

But not let it unsettle my nerves

The truth is so clear

I have to be here now

I can't let my mind control me

Overthinking the whys and hows

I know it seems so simple

This now obvious truth took time

I used to think a mysterious secret

Would answer all I was trying to find

I looked everywhere I'd go

Right / left / high / low

But with no answers coming my way

Inwards was the only place left to go

There will always be voices

That tell me what to be

But by accepting this moment

I'll
